Stock Spirits turns sustainability plans into progress as Scope 1 and 2 emissions fall 12%

Latest sustainability report highlights lower emissions, investment in operations, responsible products and stronger supplier engagement

17 August 2026

Stock Spirits Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, showing how sustainability is becoming rooted in the way the business invests, operates, develops products and works with suppliers.

Stock Spirits’ Scope 1 and 2 market-based emissions fell by 12% to 30,649 tCO₂e, while coal-related emissions fell by 81%. The Group also maintained its EcoVadis Gold rating for the second consecutive year, placing it among the top 1% of companies in the global spirits industry.

Stock Spirits worked closely with 20 strategic suppliers representing around 40% of its Scope 3 emissions, alongside continued work to strengthen responsible procurement across its supply chain.

Steven Libermann, Group CEO of Stock Spirits, said:

“Responsible business is fundamental to how we create long-term value. We have strong brands, committed people and an established production footprint, and sustainability is increasingly becoming part of the decisions we make about how we invest, operate and grow.

“We are making strong progress across our business and value chain, guided by evidence and a clear focus on what is working, while being equally clear about where we can go further.”

Investment in operations remains an important part of the Group’s approach. Its new €50 million Lublin Distillery incorporates heat recovery, water reuse and biogas, while supporting the transition away from higher-carbon energy sources.

Stock Spirits has also continued to reduce the impact of its packaging. From the first lightweighted bottles delivered in February 2025 to July 2026, selected projects are estimated to have avoided 2,364 tCO₂e.

The Group is also responding to changing consumer needs through its products and marketing. During the reporting year, Stock Spirits expanded its no and low-alcohol portfolio, continued to develop its Taste It Smart responsible drinking platform and increased responsible drinking information across its portfolio. Finsbury 0.0% became the Group’s first fully alcohol-free product.

Stock Spirits continued to invest in its people and responsible business processes. Women represented 42% of its Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team, meeting the Group’s 40% target ahead of schedule.

Responsibility also extends beyond the business. Through the Stock Foundation, colleagues continued to support communities through programmes focused on mental health, education, social inclusion and employee-led action. The Foundation’s Flavours of Change programme has awarded 21 grants since launch, supported by 720 volunteer hours from colleagues.

The report is also open about areas where further improvement is required. Energy and water intensity increased during the first full year of operation at Lublin as the distillery went through commissioning and ramp-up, while renewable electricity reached 92.2% at production sites, short of the Group’s 100% goal for 2025.

Since the end of the reporting period, in July 2026, Stock Spirits submitted its near-term Scope 1, 2 and 3 science-based targets to the Science Based Targets initiative for validation.

Radosław Lewandowski, Group Sustainability Director at Stock Spirits Group, said:

“We are proud of the progress we have made so far, but even more importantly, we are energised by the momentum we are building and what comes next. Across our business, we are seeing sustainability move from ambition into action, in how we invest in our sites, work with our suppliers, innovate our products and how our people bring these priorities to life every day.

“This is not the endpoint, but an important step on a longer journey to build a stronger, more resilient and more sustainable business. Submitting our science-based targets for validation gives us another clear milestone as we continue to raise our standards and deliver further progress.”
